Skin aging is based upon two factors, genetics and skin damage. Skin damage is a result of sun or UV exposure, cigarette smoking, and the effects of gravity on the skin. Aging or damaged skin tends to have numerous fine wrinkles, spots or pigmentation changes, dryness and laxity or droopiness. A dedicated and comprehensive skin care regimen is the first step in stopping and even correcting many of the effects of aging and skin damage.
The Obagi Skin Care System was created by dermatologists and can only be prescribed by a doctor. The Obagi Skin Care System corrects photodamaged skin, reverses age spots and revitalizes the skin, giving your skin a tighter and more youthful appearance.
Our doctors prescribe Obagi products to patients desiring improvement in their skin characteristics and prior to numerous cosmetic procedures. Our staff are trained in evaluating patients skin types and enjoy answering questions regarding the Obagi Skin Care System.

Chemical Peels are procedures which give the skin a more youthful appearance by decreasing fine wrinkles, reducing age spots and pigment changes and tightening the skin. Chemical peels are also used to treat certain types of acne and dermatological conditions such as melasma, actinic keratoses, seborrheic keratoses and solar lentigines. Chemical peels work by resurfacing the skin after the application of well controlled peels designed to increase the exfoliation of the superficial layer of the skin, thus revealing the tighter, healthier and more youthful underlying skin. Chemical peels offered in our office include light or superficial peels and moderate or medium depth peels. Chemical peel patients are frequently, but not always, treated with the Obagi Skin Care System prior to their peel in order to maximize the results of the peel. Peels may be performed with sedation upon request.
