Craniofacial Trauma Surgery is an integral part of an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons are trained to perform full-scope craniofacial trauma surgery, ranging from sports accidents to gunshot wounds and car accidents. Our doctors take calls at numerous hospitals in the Kansas City area and are proficient in the treatment of all aspects of facial trauma. Procedures performed include the treatment of facial lacerations, upper and lower jaw fractures, cheekbone (ZMC) fractures, nasal fractures, orbital fractures and sinus fractures. Treatment of these conditions may be performed in either a hospital setting or in one of our offices with sedation/general anesthesia.
