C. Haggerty, DDS, MD

Christopher Haggerty graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1998. Dr. Haggerty completed his dental training at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2002. He then entered a combined Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/M.D. integrated Residency in 2002 at Louisiana State University. Dr. Haggerty graduated from medical school at Louisiana State University in 2005. He then completed an Internship in General Surgery in 2006. In 2006, he received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) Community Service Award for his actions during hurricane Katrina. Dr. Haggerty received his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery certificate from Louisiana State University in 2008. Dr. Haggerty has numerous publications in the area of dental implants and reconstruction. Dr. Haggerty has also lectured on the topics of dental implants and bone grafting. Dr. Haggerty is currently board eligible. Dr. Haggerty is active in numerous organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the Missouri Dental Association (MDA), the Kansas Dental Association (KDA), American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), the American Medical Association (AMA), the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) and the Midwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Haggerty joined the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates of Kansas City in 2008. Dr. Haggerty is actively involved in numerous community activities and supports local sports teams.
